How Do We Spend Our Money?

Wednesday, April 20, 2005

Phewww... just finished our house-bookkeeping after wrapping up 3-months expenses which I was supposed to keep them up every week. Oh well, I can't help for being such a lazy person! Now I can tell how much we spend for any grocery item group. Wow, the most expensive item we have spent up to the year is meat/chicken, averagely $55 a month. Then followed by vegetable & fruits which cost $46 a month. At least those 2 items has a balanced figure, unless people might think we are a cannibal family who consume the flesh a lot! hihihi...

I can not tell how much fun and interesting it is just working as a family accountant, "my new profession after getting married". Well you know it's pretty different, of course, with my previous "real" accounting job which is quite complicated for sure. In whatever way you might say, I enjoy working as an accountant to myself and family because now I calculate our own 'real' money, control our disbursements, maintain cash position, etc. Also, I am able to do some other housework, for example: cooking, watering flowers, doing laundry, etc, while in the mean time I do my accounting job. Isn't that fun??
