The Apprentice 3 Review, Episode 11
Friday, April 08, 2005

This week's task was:
Each team would get the chance to show off their creativity by designing their own line of clothing. The twist was that the new line would be "wearable technology," combining tech with fashion. The teams would work with American Eagle Outfitters, a leading retailer that designs, markets, and sells its own brand of casual clothing for the youth market. Each team would get a budget of $5,000 in the form of a Visa credit card for all of the electronic gadgets that would be merged with the apparel. Then, each group would present their new line with fashion models to two American Eagle executives, who would determine the winners and losers for the task. As always, the winners would be rewarded while the losers would return to the boardroom where another candidate would be fired.
For the results, the executives told Net Worth that their presentation seemed scattered and unprepared. Also, their clothing wasn't as creative as it could have been. On the other hand, the executives liked that Magna did research and got into the head of the customer, which paid off in their clothing line. The two American Eagle executives said that the clear winner was Magna! For their reward, the team would get a shopping spree at the high-end retailer Bergdorf Goodman to buy some clothes of their own. Trump reminded Net Worth they would be taking a different kind of trip - to the boardroom, where another candidate would be fired.

Chris, Alex and Angie as a losing team entered the boardroom and under questioning. Angie admitted that her presentation was her "worst" showing so far. Obviously she was under pressure because she had so many tasks to do and had to do the presentation alone, while Chris lost the credit card and spent so much time in Best Buy, and Alex as a leader didn't manage the task very well and couldn't even get his team to the presentation on time. Why did she get blamed for that?

As a woman I would like to see a woman get hired this time. Enough for men after two Apprentices, give turn for woman please!! My fan now is Tana.. she's a very smart marketer and keeps cool under pressure. I hope she will be a new apprentice.
