Kentucky, We Are Coming!

Packing some stuffs to carry on, I feel a little bit excited to go to the next-door State, Kentucky, tomorrow morning. We will visit my hubby's childhood buddy, Darren and family, and give them some help to move-in to a new house. As my hubby asked for, I cooked some Indonesian food (Siomay & Risoles) just to introduce them my home-town cooking. Though I doubt they would like them because they are not familiar with Asian food.

Some of you must know the famous event "Kentucky Derby" which is a stakes race for three-year-old thoroughbred horses, staged yearly in Louisville, Kentucky on the first Saturday in May. Well, we are going to the same city actually but we have no interest to watch such a game. In fact, the ticket might be very expensive, I guess, because many millionaire's rich people and celebrity come up and put gambling on the race. I saw in tv some elegant women appear in long dresses, big hats, and carrying fancy umbrellas.


Although the trip will take 10 hours driving from our place, I bet I would enjoy a mountain view along the road. Here we go!! Kentucky, we are coming!!
