Something Different
Saturday, August 06, 2005
This is the first summer I consider too hot in VA. Some news people even name it "tropical summer" because the weather has no significant difference with the weather in tropical countries where they have eternal summer. Enough for summer! I'm looking forward the autumn, my favorite season of the year.To survive from an extremely uncomfortable summer, I decided to give up my long hair and have a new short haircut for good. Now I don't have to worry getting terribly sweat once I need something to do outside or go out somewhere else.
I headed to Lowe's, nearby hair studio, soon my haircut was done just to make a short trip in a day ( or to save the gas?). I bought some rocks I needed a long ago to make over my little garden. Although it needs some more rocks to buy and needs me to go back to Lowe's some other time, my front yard looks ever prettier now.Now & Then

I do understand my today's journal has no something meaningful to share with. I just do writing to kill my time in the moment of waiting for a friend from WV coming over to spend a night here.
Yes, tomorrow we are going to DC together to celebrate Independence day of our home country, Indonesia, at ambassador's house. I hope to meet some Indonesian friends and to enjoy some Indonesian foods, too. Though I cooked three kind of Indonesian cuisine to welcome Marsia from WV, I'm expecting to find my other favorite meals while we are there.
