It was terribly hot out there, almost hit 90s, when I took a walk to DMV this afternoon to renew my driver's license. Yeaah, now I am not allowed to drive a car until I get my renewal license. Well, it's not a big deal though to walk away since the place is not too far from the house. Wearing sun glasses, carrying some documents in the folder, walking with high energy, getting excited to see not many crowds in the parking lot.. Oops I found a little notes hung on the front door to announce that the office is closed today due to computer trouble.
What a small bad day!!


I remember when I lived in Jakarta, I just picked up a call to the agency every time I need to renew the driver's license, car registration card, and license plates. As long as we pay the fee to the agency who will take care of our papers, we can get those legal documents right away in the same day we submit all the papers to that agency without giving a visit to police station (DMV). Yupp, everything is about the money in Jakarta! Then you don't have to get in-line to apply those documents, you don't have to wait for at least 3-4 hours , and you don't have to worry your make-up getting melted in the room with no air condition.


Here I have to take care of that papers by myself, of course with my hubby's help too. Somehow, it sounds I feel more convenient doing that matter in Jakarta than here. Absolutely you get me wrong! I can tell everything is so organized here that you would find no trouble to obtaining your documents. Well, a different country has different system despite how bad the country and its people is!! Right???
