Nothing excellent
can be done
without leisure
by Andre Gide
Smiling on my face, I enjoy every single picture we took when we spent 3 days-vacation in Ocean City, MD. I would say this is the best vacation I've ever had for these two years.

Ocean City is a narrow island across the Eastern Maryland mainland. The main road into OC is Route 50, with a long bridge called the Bay Bridge or Chesapeake Bay Bridge that provides a direct connection between Maryland's Eastern Shore recreational and ocean regions and the metropolitan areas of Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, D.C. It's awesome to see such a huge and long bridge. The interesting one is I've ever got the amazing pictures of this Bay Bridge from forwarded email but I never thought to see the visual bridge by myself.
OC is famous with its clean, calm and quiet beach. It is a terrific place for family, honeymooners or tourists to spend vacation. Believe me, you won't find something nasty in there. Well, "nasty" in my word here means no nude and no garbage. Neither hubby nor I were familiar with this place and we were somewhat surprised by how difficult to find the vacant hotel when we just got there. Although we took weekdays to expect less-crowd, most of the hotels/motels were fully occupied. Well, the fact is the summer holiday was not over yet and we didn't book the hotel from the beginning, so no reason to find one easily. At last, we ended up at small-clean hotel with outdoor pool after looking for and stopping by 8 hotels.
Our days in OC we spent just for leisure, relaxing, board-walking, swimming, and sunbathing. Fortunately, the sunshine was little bit calm not to show off its terrible heat and I found myself not getting awfully tanned after sunbathing. As usual, I set up my own plan to relate what I would like to eat with the place we visit.
Yes, the beach trip is not complete without eating seafood. Found from searching in internet and reading some people's review, Phillips Crab House at Philadelphia Avenue we picked at last to dine out and to enjoy All-You-Can-Eat Seafood Festival Buffet including Bbq, Steak, Fried chicken, and other American food. All the foods were really good and the crabs were so yummie! ... Gee whiz, I miss that restaurant so badly now.
OC is a secure place to swim in the ocean, to lie down on the sand, and to walk along the boardwalk. How do I say that?
Well, I noticed there were lifeguards, either with the ATV vehicle or a high guard chair, to patrol and to maintaining a safe along the beaches. I saw the trash-cans located everywhere around the beach and along the boardwalk to make sure people won't miss the right place to throw the garbage. At night, the beach is cleaned by big trucks that sort out the sand from rocks, trash or any significant stuff not part of the beach, so don't even think about sleeping on the beach. Tired from walking away? There's a tram that'll take you from one end of the boardwalk to the other, stopping wherever you like in between. Fare for this multiple-car trolley is $2.50 each way. For some exercise, you can do it by walking, running or jogging, and riding a bike. If you don't have a bike of your own, rentals are available on the boardwalk. Families can get surreys (four-person buggy bikes with awnings), and single riders can opt for regular two-wheel bikes, or try out the zippy three-wheeled incline bikes.
Another entertainments and attractions I really enjoyed OC are window shopping at some stores along the boardwalk, watching people in the rides of amusement park, the amazing sand sculptures in the beach and many stuff I couldn't mention one by one here. One game I won't miss next time is playing golf in miniature golf courses which you can find across several outdoor.
Time to quit talking about OC unless my story looks like a travel book.
Overall, I conclude OC is the exciting place to have fun. Though my hubby has ever been there once, he enjoyed this second trip much better. I bet because this time he was with his wife.. (*wink wink*) hihihi!
Take a look more pictures.
