The Apprentice Posted by Hello

This week Mr. Donald Trump gave an assignment to both team (Magna & Net Worth) which is about building and operating a miniature golf business at Chelsea Piers. The team with the most revenue is the winner.

To me, getting the results is the most interesting part of this show because sometimes it's easy to predict, sometimes it's unpredictable, and sometimes it's hard to say either for win-win position or on the other way.

One team creates a safari theme (Magna) while the other dresses like clowns (Net Worth) both tactics draw plenty of children to the courses. The losing team in this case was Net Worth whom the Project manager is Audrey.

The tension between Audrey and John became worse in boardroom when the team members were arguing each other about who most contributing to lose. I personally don't like both of them. First, their personalities totally opposite each other. John looks so mature, strong and tough. On the other hand, Audrey behaves like a spoiled child. Secondly, they can not work together as a solid team. They both clashed repeatedly in doing this task since beginning. John didn't respect Audrey as a Project Manager (PM), apparently because he had nominated Chris to be PM instead approving her being the PM. I lost a lot of respect for John in this task, although I agree with him in one point when he said, "Audrey was being a baby in bringing up her personal history (which had nothing to do with the task, or with the whole show for that matter)". However, if Mr. Trump asked me who I would get fired between two of them. Definitely I would say Audrey just like what he has done last night.

I don't think she had any idea about what business or teamwork are about. She talked her sob story growing up, and about how "strong" she is and beautiful?! ... bla..bla..bla.. It seemed that she can not overcome to getting overly emotional. I am quite sure that a smart businessperson never shows when they are angry, because when you show your anger you loose your cool, and your control. That's a bad thing to do. You have to show "anger" when you need to show it but at the same time not even really be angry in side! It's just acting.

While not always true, women tend to have a tougher time keeping out the personal differences than men. Men are more likely to be put in situations that stress working together for the greater goal. Women are more likely to be raised where personal relationships are more important than teamwork.

Audrey had turned on the charm and used her beauty to her advantage. Trump fired Audrey by saying that "sometimes beauty just doesn't do it". I agree with Audrey getting fired. She deserved it!!

"Come on girl, this is not a beauty pageant, it's about leadership! Use your brain instead of your beauty to win this competition!! Go back to your mommy and tell her you're not gonna make it to win...*hicks*." I don't know sometimes I couldn't control myself emotionally while watching movies or reality shows. I kept giving mean comments unless my hubby didn't remind me,"Gossh... calm down Susi! you are going too far now!"
