Add To My Lists!!

Thursday, June 16, 2005

After looking for the appetite of tv shows due to break season of The Apprentice and American Idol, I finally found some favorites added into my tv menu. Yeah, for some reason I keep my habit watching tv right after dinner on weekdays, though I don't go to work any more. Somehow, it's just strange to me watching tv during working-hours that I've never done since teenager. I think the idea that tv is an entertainment for people who get rest and relax after doing some work has been sticky into my mind that won't enable me to change my usual habit. Did I mention I don't go to work? Absolutely!.. but "work" doesn't have to be working at the office or making money, right? Anyway, I prefer to say having a job is a work to make money. In my case, I'd say sorry that I have no job but I have certainly something to do at the house to keep me busy. In other word, I have one reason for sure to keep my watching-tv schedule.

Back to my topic, here are the tv shows I put into my favorites lists:

"Hell’s Kitchen" (FOX, every Monday at 9/8c PM)

Internationally respected British chef Gordon Ramsay runs a tough kitchen and this unscripted drama follows him as he trains a crew of aspiring chefs as he works to open a new restaurant in Los Angeles. There's some sort of elimination system and the winner ultimately gets something, but viewers will more likely tune in to watch Ramsay cook and yell at people. Premieres May 30 on Fox.

"Dancing With the Stars" (ABC, every Wednesday at 9/8c PM)

A totally unique and original series that pairs a celebrity, like boxer Evander Holyfield, with a professional dance partner as they train and then compete in front of a studio audience in a televised dance competition. The pairs will be judged by a panel of experts and also by viewers at home, with one couple being eliminated each week. Premieres June 1 on ABC.

"Hit Me Baby" (NBC, every Thursday at 9/8c PM)

A one-hour competition program featuring veteran music hit-makers who will each perform their greatest hit -- as well as cover a popular contemporary song -- with the favorite to be determined by audience voting. The Knack, Vanilla Ice, Cameo, Tiffany, Wang Chung, Loverboy and Arrested Development are among the acts competing for charity in the NBC series, which premieres June 2.
