How Well Do You Know About Grocery?

my favorite grocery store with simple layout and reasonable price
Speaking about grocery, hhmm..I wonder why most grocery stores adopt a standard layout starting generally from the Produce Section where we can find the fresh fruits and vegetables? I tried to search this article in internet but none really tells the basic history. Then the idea of my personal analysis came up into my mind to figure out my curiosity.
Each of you who does shopping in grocery must be familiar with the grocery sections / departments including Produce, Bakery, Grocery, Fresh Meat, Frozen Food, Dairy, Cheese & Butter, 'Ready to Go' Foods (Fresh Salads, Hot Soups & Sandwiches), Wines & Beer. The most obvious purpose when one first steps into the Produce section is to shopping the fresh goods. Why do they like shopping the fresh foods? Definitely because they wish to eat healthy and well. Also, they are bored by packaged goods that would make people sick in the long-term if they keep consuming them. As the wisdom says "A healthy diet starts at the grocery store" that I totally agree with, I believe the grocery stores encourage people to live healthy too! Wait a minute... why do we still find some fat-obesity-overweight people stopping by the Produce section? Well, among the fresh fruits and vegetables and between the whole grains and the lean meats lie the temptations of junk food, fat-packed pre-prepared meals, and other choices that can sabotage your attempts to eat right. Some groceries are designed creatively and scientifically to enhance your spending. From the music that you hear, to the aromas that you smell, all you need to be aware of the environment you're entering -- which I would say it might tempt you easily to spend more than you need. At this point, you need to shift your hungry mind as quickly as possible to avoid those impulse items that are not part of your healthy eating plan.
Another subject relating to the grocery shopping is bulk items which remind me a friend in English class who offered me to be a member of Sam's Club. I rejected with gently spoken, "sorry I have no interest to buy grocery items in a bulk." It really doesn't make any sense to me to purchase the bulk foods / items just because it's said we can save money by doing that way. How do you save money that you have to spend your money in advance and you have to pay the membership fee? Of course, the company of the grocery has calculated the interest cost of an advanced money and the membership fee from customers into the lower grocery price. No wonder some people say "It's cheaper to get this and that in Sam's Club or Costco (for example)?". Excuse me, I am not fool! Anyway, I think it might be true it's cheaper to do shopping over there if you have a big family, at least 6 members. The bottom line to this topic is Be A Smart Shopper!!
