Meeting, Eating & Laughing

Yup, those were the three activities we usually did when we had a little gathering with friends from the same country. To me, it was fun and sort of a little break from doing regular housework. Last Saturday two friends from WV picked me up before heading to a new friend in MD who was the host of this gathering. We stuffed our muscle tables with lamb fried rice (nasi goreng kambing), beef curry (rendang) and devil eggs (telor balado) at my home and then we drove away to MD. Regardless our half-full tummy, we continued eating Chinese foods, some snacks & desserts at the host place. What a rubbery stomach!

Unfortunately we were lost on the way back home when we were taking exit to highway 7. Well, it was my mistake though! I was extremely confident taking Falls Church exit when we saw two different exits to highway 7. I thought the two exits would end up with the same way to 7 West. I should have taken the Tyson's Corner exit instead of Falls Church exit to get back home. However, the problem is the board sign doesn't mention either highway 7 east or west. It says only Tyson's corner / 7 and Falls Church / 7 which I believe is confusing many travelers who drive in I-495. Oh well, I got a lesson anyway from my mistake.
