Being inspired by the show, I got the idea to write about when I was about finished watching the Tyra Banks talk show. It was sort of surprising that she brought Naomi Campbell into the show. She uncovered that they had been in battle each other for 14 years in the world of fashion. For those who like reading gossips about celebrity, it's not secret at all that Naomi is a rude-mean-arrogant model who always feels threatened to find anyone in the models getting better or more famous than her. Either not any single word in entertainment news saying that she is the person who can manage her bad temper real well. With her brave-heart, she apologized Tyra for any her irritating behavior and she gave Tyra compliments for her success in doing both reality show and talk show. At the beginning, Tyra looked very emotional talking her hurt-feelings of what she has done at fashion stage, especially when Naomi ever intimidated her with mean words "Don't ever be like me". Anyhow Tyra felt such a relief, a healing process as what she calls, to have her in the show and to get her apology. At the end of the show, they both imitated the way they do a fashion-walk just for fun.I was quite impressed what she has done to Tyra for more than a decade. Salute for both! It reminds me of someone in the past who did the similar way to myself. It happened when I was working with AA company and having a female boss for the very first time. She welcomed me with her fake smile on my first day work and she turned horrible when I said I was still a student of last semester in University of Indonesia. For some reason, she always put me into troubles when at that time I worked alone, didn't get any direction from her, learned doing something only from the working papers, got home around 10 pm every single day, and did my final thesis & working together. The bad thing is the company didn't send me yet to have training in the beginning because I joined them in a rush period. She gave me some tasks that were supposedly done by supervisor, not a staff like me. After a month work, I was about to quit when one good-looking senior staff asked the manager to have me as his assistant staff. I figured out at the end that he was my senior in the same university. He was so nice, caring and smart. Lucky me, I was promoted to senior staff less than a year. I suspected the promotion was because of him or because I did? He was promoted to Supervisor, too, the same position with that female boss who hated me so much. Fortunately I never had the same assignment with that female boss again. Although I didn't take it to heart, I never talked or smiled at her again.
To make it short, I was surprised by her at the end day of my work at AA. Guess what? She apologized what she has done to me when I was shaking her hand to say goodbye. I didn't even think that she did all those troubles to me on purpose. She wished me to get success for my new job at one big company in Indonesia that hired me days before I was about getting promoted to supervisor in AA. I felt the world has totally changed when she asked me the apology I absolutely never expected from her. Since then, she always talked nice and smiled at me every time we met in the meeting between my company and AA as our regular public accountant which used to be my first work in my life. The point of my story is how you see the world is full of beauty when everyone give peace one another.
